Case Study: Private Pond Restoration

Our client contacted us, concerned that the pond in a newly purchased property was an eyesore and a danger to children.

We tackled the problem by first dredging the pond to remove accumulated sediments, then shallowing the gradient by reprofiling the toe to create a shallow beach area. Finally, we created a safe path along the back bank by building a green oak revetment. The customer chose their own planting program which we helped to plant as well as providing an efficient mushroom aerator.
