Case Study: Ponsbourne St. Mary's Primary School
A shaded and stagnant pond, the school had lost an important asset both as a wildlife habitat and as an ecological learning resource.
We restored the pond by removing the sludge, improving dissolved oxygen and increasing light penetration. In addition, we created a grassy level access for children to gather safely for outdoor classes.
